SANTA CLARA, Calif. - In this week's edition of the Bronco Weekly Sports Wrap, co-hosts John Nash and Lauren Matheson get you caught up on the beginning of the spring-sport seasons on the Mission campus and the inside scoop on both men's and women's basketball.

EYEBRONCO reporter and sophomore on the men's basketball team, Denzel Johnson, talks to his teammate Robert Garrett about the Broncos past week and upcoming game against Portland. The Broncos went 2-0 last week with a non-conference win over Cal State Bakersfield and a big West Coast Conference win at San Diego. Santa Clara continues WCC play Thurs., Jan. 31 at home against Portland. 

Hear from men's tennis senior Tom Pham and head coach Derek Mills about the Broncos' win over No. 38 Boise State. Pham and Mills also talk about the team's preparation for their upcoming trip to Seattle, Wash. to battle No. 22 Washington and another bout with No. 38 Boise State.

Matheson sits down with redshirt freshman Julia Peters of the women's water polo team to discuss the team's performance at the UCSB Winter Invite. The Broncos picked up a win over Concordia, while falling in a tough match to No. 8 Loyola Marymount. Santa Clara's home opener is Fri., Feb. 1 against No. 12 Hawaii.
