Nick Fustar returns to the Bronco program as an assistant coach for the 2007-08 season for the both men's and women's programs. He shares responsibilities related to all aspects of the programs, with primary duties concentrated on player development and co-directing the Broncos' tennis camps. Fustar spent his collegiate career at Fresno State University where he played at the top of both the singles and doubles lineup. An ITA Regional singles quarterfinalist and doubles semifinalist in 2000, Fustar attained national rankings highs of 70th in singles and 12th in doubles. He graduated from Fresno State with a degree in Business Information Systems in June 2002. Fustar played professionally on the ATP Tour and held world rankings in both singles and doubles. His tournament travels took him throughout the United States, Europe and South America. During the summer of 2002, Fustar trained with men and women on the professional tennis circuit. Included among these individuals were Nick Rainey, Brie Rippner and several other world-ranked players. In the summer of 2005, he traveled with Mario Ancic of Croatia, one of the Top-20 singles players in the world. Fustar is also co-founder of the Eagle/Fustar Tennis Development Academy, a junior program that specializes in the development of players ranging from ages 8-18. It is a highly-structured, goal-oriented and focused program that includes many ranked players, both in Northern California and nationally.
