WCC Tournament Bracket | SCU Tournament Notes
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's basketball team will play the tournament-opening game at the upcoming 2010 Zappos.com West Coast Conference Championships on Friday, March 5 at 12 p.m. at The Orleans Hotel, 4500 West Tropicana Avenue in Las Vegas.
Santa Clara (3-26) will be the tournament's No. 8 seed, matching-up with No. 5 seed San Diego (15-13). The Broncos led USD at halftime at the JCP on January 8 before eventually losing 60-44. San Diego came to the Leavey Center in Santa Clara on February 6 and defeated SCU 67-58.
