2013-14 Grand Reunion Alumni Row Set for Saturday, Oct. 12th

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara University rowing alumni, along with friends and supporters of Bronco athletics are encouraged to come out to Lexington Reservoir in Los Gatos and meet the current teams on the morning of Saturday, October 12.

Men's head coach Jay Farwell, and women's head coach, John Wojtkiewicz, will speak briefly about the goals and expectations for the upcoming season. A light breakfast will be served, precluding the alumni going out on the water for a swing row.

Both programs open fall training in late September. The 2014 Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships are scheduled for the weekend of April 26-27, 2014. The women's team will also compete in the West Coast Conference (WCC) Championships on May 17, 2014. Both championship events will be held at Lake Natoma, near Sacramento.
