Two Women’s Golfers Earn Postseason Honors

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Sarah Busey and Emily Sumner of Santa Clara women's golf earned spots on the 2018-19 All-West Coast Conference team.

Busey finished fourth in the last week's WCC Championship and led the team with a 73.43 stroke average while playing in all 10 events during the season.

Sumner was second with a 73.97 stroke average. She also played in all 10 events though missed the final round of the league tournament due to injury.

That duo helped the team to six top-three showings, including a victory in the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational in October.

During the season, Busey had six top 10 finishes and Sumner five.
