Jeff Hipps enters his second season on the Bronco coaching staff after spending three seasons heading up the frosh-soph program at Burlingame High School. He will be involved in all aspects of the program, while working closely with the Broncos' junior varsity squad.
A 1997 graduate of the University of San Francisco, Hipps played one season (1993) with the Dons before beginning his coaching career at Burlingame High School, where he served as the frosh-soph coach for the 1994 season. In 1995, Hipps moved onto the College of San Mateo as an assistant coach. He resumed his frosh-soph duties at Burlingame High in 1996, where he remained through the 1998 season.
In addition to his coaching duties, Hipps runs the Starting Lineup Baseball Camps, a program he founded six years ago.
A 1992 graduate of Burlingame High School, the 23-year old Hipps is single and resides in Santa Clara.
