Scott Kidd is currently in his third year as the programs volunteer assistant coach after beginning his collegiate coaching career with Santa Clara in 2002.

Kidd coaching career began just as his playing career is ending. He has spent four years in the New York Yankees program playing for the Tampa Yankees, Greensboro Bats, and Oneota Yankees prior to joining the Broncos' staff.

The Yankees drafted him out of the Cal Poly program where he earned All-America and First Team All-Big West honors during the 1997 season. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Cal Poly in 1997.

Kidd transferred to Cal Poly from the University of Arizona where he earned First Team All-Pac-10 honors for his play at second base. Prior to Arizona Kidd spent one season at the junior college level where earned MVP honors in the Coast Conference in 1993 for his play at DeAnza College. He also garnered junior college All-American status during his freshman campaing.

In addition to his duties with the Broncos' baseball program, Kidd heads up the Bronco Baseball Camps, which are held around the Christmas holidays.

Kidd and his wife Gina reside in Los Altos and will celebrate their third wedding anniversary in October.
