Women's Basketball Travels To Rival Saint Mary's Thursday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The final regular season week of the regular season tipsoff for Santa Clara women's basketball Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Saint Mary's.

The Broncos fell to BYU Thursday but bounced back with a Senior Day win over San Diego Saturday.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 35-43 all-time against San Diego with the first meeting coming in 1978-79. The Gaels won a shootout in Leavey Center earlier in the season.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (10-17, 4-12 WCC) is scoring 68.0 points per game this season on 41.0-percent shooting from the floor and 33.0-percent from beyond the arc.

Sam Simons scores a team high 15.7 ppg and grabs 5.6 rpg. Emily Codding's 8.4 rpg are tops on the team and she scores 14.7 ppg on a team best 53.1-percent shooting. Taycee Wedin has knocked down 93 3-pointers and scores 12.8 ppg. Madeline Holland's 4.5 apg lead the team and she is scoring 12.4 ppg.
