SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball has added Fa-Ko-Fieme'a Hafoka-Latu as its director of operations.
Hafoka-Latu spent the last two years at San Jose State, first as a graduate assistant from 2020-21 and then as video coordinator from January to March 2022.
"We are thrilled to have someone with Me'a's passion, energy, and work ethic join our program," Santa Clara head coach Bill Carr said.
While with the Spartans Hafoka-Latu had a wide variety of duties including assisting with the day-to-day operations of the program and breaking down film for scouting and game review. She also assisted with individual workouts and plater development and analytics.
Hafoka-Latu played at San Jose State from 2016-20 where she was a guard and small forward. A three-time team captain, Hafoka-Latu was named to the All-Mountain West Academic Team all four seasons and won the 2020 Dick Tomey Class Act Award.
She graduated in May 2020 with a BA in child and adolescent development and again in December 2021 with an MA in education and a multiple subject teaching credential.
