RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's rowing competed at the WIRA Championships on Lake Natoma in Rancho Cordova, Calif. over the weekend.

On Saturday, the Broncos won the Women's 2 Petite final with a time of 8:43.8, seven seconds ahead of second place UC Santa Barbara. They also finished third in the Novice 8 Petite final, 10 seconds behind Sacramento State, on Saturday.

They were unable to come away with any wins on Sunday in the Varsity 8, JV 8, and Varsity 4 races.

Santa Clara concludes its season May 13 at the WCC Championships at Lake Natoma.
