BERKELEY, Calif. - In the second day of competition at the Cal Winter Invitational on Saturday, the Santa Clara women's tennis doubles team of JennaMarie Gordon and Finley picked up an 8-1 win over Saint Mary's Mariia Kozyreva and Julia Ronney.

The victory was the only one on the docket for the Broncos, who dropped a doubles match facing players from Saint Mary's and lost all six matches to players from Cal, the tournament host.  

Lindsey Pesqueira paired with Cal's Cami Brown but fell to the Gaels' tandem of Jocelyn Massey and Lene Mari Hovda, 8-5 in doubles competition.  

The Bears featured two ranked singles players in No. 108 Valentina Ivanov and No. 110 Jessica Alsola who each won their singles matches.  Ivanov took down Gordon 6-4, 6-1 while Alsosa claimed a 6-0, 6-2 win over Jamie Schroer.
