Men's Golf

A three-year member of the team who has played in 21 career events, registering a stroke average of 73.98.

AS A JUNIOR (2017-18): Played in four events … accumulated a 75.17 scoring average … best showing was in the first round of The Farms Invitational (Feb. 12-13) where he tied for 9th place with scores of 69-74-75 (218) … also tied for 14th in the Arizona Intercollegiate (Jan. 29-10) with scores of 76-75-73 (224).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Played in seven events, averaging 74.62 per round …earned WCC All-Academic honors …  at the USF Olympic Intercollegiate (Sept. 12-13), he had his best showing of the season finishing 29th overall with 8-under 221 … at the Saint Mary’s Invitational (Oct. 24-26), posted his lowest 18-hole score of the season, shooting a 70 in the second round.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16): Key contributor, competing in all 10 events ... cumulated a scoring average of 73.53, third best on the team ... posted 11 under-par rounds (second best on the team) and two even-par rounds ... three top-10 tournament finishes ... immediately became a key part of Santa Clara's team, shooting a 69 in his first collegiate tournament at the St. Mary's Invitational (Sep. 14-16) ... best round came in his final round of the season, a 66 at the WCC Championship (April 18-20) ... rattled off back-to-back-to-back under-par scores as he tied for ninth at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate (Sep. 28-29), going 70-69-70 to finish at 4-under ... also finished 4-under at the National Invitational where he shot 72-71-69 to finish tied for 10th ... best finish came at the WCC Championship where he tied for fifth after shooting 70-76-66 to finish 4-under.  

HIGH SCHOOL: Outstanding prep athlete at Oregon’s West Salem High School … four-year letterman in golf, and three-time basketball letterman ... while playing golf, posted a senior-year scoring average of 72.6 … led West Salem to a fourth-place finish at Oregon’s 6A State Championships as a senior … Oregon 6A All-State First Team honoree … four-time all-district award-winner … four-times led West Salem to 6A State Championships … three-time First Team All-Central Valley Conference award winner ... shot rounds of 70-71 to win the 2015 district title … four-time team MVP ... Statesman Journal named him a three-time First Team All-Midvalley Boys team honoree ... Hogan Cup participant in 2014 ... excelled on the AJGA tour as well. 

PERSONAL: Parents are Jim and Holly Eyre … has two younger brothers, Andrew and Brandon … notes basketball, piano and ukelele as hobbies ... excellent prep student, earning Central Valley Conference All-Academic honors three times ... Honor Roll student all four years of high school ... was the webmaster at West Salem High ... studying in the Suzuki Piano School from 2006-2014 ... majoring in biology.
