WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Santa Clara men's golf was unable to complete its final regular-season event.
Sunday's third round of the Boilermaker Invitational was canceled due to rain.
The Broncos finished ninth in the 15-team field with a 4-over total of 580 (295-285).
Illinois State won the team title by one shot over host Purdue and two ahead of fifth-ranked Oklahoma. Illinois State carded a 16-under 560 (283-277) in the 36-hole tournament that was played at Kampen Golf Course.
Konrad Brauckmeyer was Santa Clara's top finisher, posting an even-par 144 (74-70).
Jordan Hahn of Wisconsin won the individual crown at 9-under 135 (67-68).
The Broncos will next compete at the West Coast Conference Championships, which will be held at April 25-27 at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton, California.
