SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis players dominated play at the Pacific Invitational over the weekend racking up a combined 28 singles and doubles wins over three days.
Twenty-one of the victories came in singles play where the Bronco players had the best record in four of the six flights competing against players from Washington, Saint Mary's, Cal Poly, UC Davis and host Pacific with results counting for the individuals and not against the team record.
Guillaume Dalmasso, Arthur Neuhaus and James Bell competed at flights two, three and four, respectively, and each went undefeated going 4-0.
Santiago Hinojosa posted a 3-1 record at flight five to tie for most victories but won the most sets.
Santa Clara won seven doubles matches with the tandem of Mann Shah and James Bell leading the way winning three of four matches at flight two to tie for the best record along with Pacific's Ran Amar and Brandon Park.
