As our wonderful trip dwindles down, we spent our last two days in Paris touring the city, eating crepes and fondue dinners. The morning after we arrived in Paris, we were taken on a bus tour through the city stopping at the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Les Invalides, Champs-Elysees, and the Arc de Triumphe. The buildings and the history is absolutely amazing. Paris is much more of the "city life" than we expected. Later that night we all went out to dinner and ate fondue at a cafe near our hotel. It was delicious and surprisingly it was much cheaper than the fondue place we are used to in Saratoga.
Today was our travel day back to the States and it was long. Although we had a wonderful time, we were all anxious to get back to the States. We were lucky to have a few open seats on the plane ride back so we were all sprawled out trying to get as many ZZZZZZ's as possible. We fly all the way across the country just to get to the airport and have to wait an hour for our bus. Needless to say, we were all a little impatient.
Overall, the trip was awesome and we are all very thankful for having this opportunity. Thank you to Santa Clara and all of our wonderful supporters.
