Softball Falls Twice at California Challenge

BENISHA, Calif. - The Santa Clara softball team fell to Humboldt State 6-0 and host California 6-0 at the California Challenge in Benisha, Calif.

Tomorrow's games against Pacific and CS Stanislaus have been canceled due to inclement weather.

Junior outfielder Sydney Wiginton scored the Broncos' only run off a base hit by sophomore shortstop Tracie Hall.

The Broncos will not play again in the fall, and will open the 2001 season at the University of the Pacific on Saturday, Feb. 3 in Stockton.
