2012 UCSD Triton Invitational
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's water polo team is appearing in the 2012 UC San Diego Triton Invitational this weekend in La Jolla, Calif. The Broncos, who have now played 7 of 12 games thus far against ranked opposition, opened up the weekend with a close 9-6 setback to 9th-ranked Indiana Saturday morning.
The Broncos then dropped a 6-3 Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) decision to Cal State East Bay. Santa Clara will play twice Sunday, matching up with tournament host and No. 18 UC San Diego at 8 a.m.
