SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara Women's Water Polo is set to play four home games this weekend, including their first matchup against Cal State East Bay (5-2) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, as part of their home tournament that also features Marist, Pacific and Brown University.
Santa Clara will face Marist (4-6) for the second time this season following a 17-6 loss at the Triton Invitational last weekend.
On Sunday, the Broncos will play in two matches against Brown University (5-5) at 9:00 a.m. and Cal State Monterey Bay (1-3) at 4:00 p.m.
The Cal State Monterey Bay Otters defeated the Broncos 11-8 in Santa Clara's first game of the season which took place late January.
Elle Fredrickson currently leads the Broncos in scoring with 11 goals this season. Lauren Baglietto is second with eight.
Lauren Voss has a team high of eight steals, and Mia Battilga has a team high of 10 assists for the Broncos.
All four tournment games will take place at Sullivan Aquatic Center.
