NOTES

  • The Broncos had one of their best regular seasons in recent history, finishing 3rd in the WCC with a 10-5 record, their best finish in the league since finishing 2nd in 2006-07.

  • With 20 wins this year, Santa Clara now has two 20-win seasons in the last three years. That's the first time the Broncos have done that since 2010-11 through 2012-13.

  • The Broncos have posted four-straight winning seasons, their longest stretch since Dick Davey led to team to seven-straight from 1994-95 through 2000-01.

  • Santa Clara's 10 WCC wins are their most since 2016-17, Sendek's first season.

  • Three Broncos earned All-WCC honors, including two first team members (Jalen Williams and Josip Vrankic). It's the first time SCU has had two first teamers in the same year since 2012-13.

  • Santa Clara is 5th nationally in field goal percentage (49.2) and 12th nationally in 3-pt field goal percentage (38.3). They are one of just four teams in the nation that is shooting that well from both.

  • Santa Clara closed out the year 12-3 to lock up third place in the WCC.

  • Santa Clara's 20 wins are tied for the most of the Sendek Era.

  • The Broncos are 31-33 all-time in the WCC Tournament. They have two tournament titles (1986-87 and 1992-93).

  • Santa Clara leads the all-time series with Portland 70-33. They will be playing each other for the second time in a week with the Broncos winning 102-89 in Santa Clara in the regular-season finale. The teams have faced each other seven times in the WCC Tournament with the Broncos holding a 5-2 advantage, including a 95-86 victory in the opening round last season.
  • The Pilots are coming off a 73-55 win over San Diego on Friday.
