Cheryl Heiman was promoted to assistant athletic director of business affairs in 2015. She is in her eighth year with Santa Clara Athletics after serving as accounting associate for the previous 3 years.
In her current position, Heiman is responsible for managing the athletics budget across 20 sports and 5 units. She tracks department revenue and expenses, and provides ad hoc internal reporting. She also prepares NCAA and WCC financial reports.
Heiman is an experienced financial and industry analyst. Prior to joining Santa Clara University, she worked at Lam Research where she provided financial forecasting and expense oversight to Global Sales, IT, Corporate Marketing and Legal teams.
Heiman has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science with a Minor in Mathematics from University of California, San Diego.
