ATHLETIC EXPERIENCE: In his first season with the SCU rowing team as a freshman in 2014-15 ... rowed during his time at Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, Calif. … stroked the 2011-2012 national champion lightweight eight and 2013 silver medal lightweight eight for the Marin Rowing Association at the USRowing Youth National Championship … awarded the Bob Cumming Cup, named for the founder of the MRA.

Why I Chose Santa Clara: Santa Clara stood out to me because of all the schools that I visited, I felt the most at home here. The community at Santa Clara is the most welcoming that I have encountered, and I am very excited to be a part of it. I grew up an hour away, so I fell in love with the California weather and knew I didn’t want to leave that. Plus the rowing guys are pretty chill so what more can one ask for?
