2011 & 2010 All-WCC Honorable Mention

RS JUNIOR (2011): Earned All-WCC Honorable Mention recognition for the second straight season ... one of Santa Clara's most reliable performers, playing and starting in 18 games ... distributed three assists and totaled 24 shots during the season ... took 48 corner kicks and was regularly used in free kick situations as well ... totaled a season-high five shots vs. LMU (Oct. 28) ... had two assists to facilitate Santa Clara's improbable three-goal comeback win at USF (Nov. 1) ... also passed out the game-winning assist in the season-finale at Portland (Nov. 13) - a game Santa Clara needed to win to remain in the race for the WCC title ... Santa Clara finished the year 11-5-4 (best record in WCC) and was ranked as high as No. 18 nationally.  

RS SOPHOMORE (2010): Enjoyed a break out season, helping Santa Clara win the 2010 WCC Championship while being named among the league's top players ... started in 13 games and appeared in 15 before being sidelined with injury late in the year ... played 1,256 minutes ... went through a seven game stretch (including four double-overtime games) in October in which he played all 710 minutes ... scored three goals and had three assists to tie for third on the team in points (9) ... totaled 14 shots ... was an essential part of Santa Clara's 12-game unbeaten steak from Sept. 19 through Nov. 5 ... had all three goals and three assists during the month of October, doing most of his damage off free kicks ... assisted in Santa Clara's 3-1 victory over Gonzaga (Oct. 1) ... had a goal and an assist in a 2-2 tie with USF (Oct. 8) ... scored in a 1-1 tie with LMU (Oct. 15) ... capped off a four-game stretch of recording at least one point in each outing by scoring an unassisted goal at USF (Oct. 22) ... missed the final four games of the year with an injury, including the NCAA tournament first round match at Sacramento State (Nov. 18).   

RS FRESHMAN (2009): Played in six contests at defender ... appeared in the season-opener against No. 15 UC Irvine (Sep. 1) ... played a season-high 35 minutes against Stanford (Sep. 17).

FRESHMAN (2008): Utilized a redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2008 graduate of San Pasqual High School in Escandido, Calif. ... coaches were Mike Shatto and John Burson ... named first-team all-league and was team MVP.

PERSONAL: Born in Newport Beach, Calif. ... parents are John and Denise Culver ... has one brother, Shaun, who plays soccer at Stanford ... hobbies include bodyboarding and riding bikes ... communication major.
