AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005-06: One of the steadiest players on the team, going 14-8 during the spring season, primarily at the No. 6 position... compiled an overall singles record of 17-12, including a 7-3 mark in the WCC... registered a five-match winning streak during the middle of the year, defeating Brian Garfield (Eastern Washington), Max Taylor (UC Santa Barbara), Carlos Malet (Loyola Marymount), Kevin Borzenski (Pepperdine), and Jake Berriochoa (Montana State)... sealed the Eastern Washington and Sacramento State dual matches for Santa Clara... participated in the Wilson/ITA Northwest Regional Championships... advanced to the Round of 16 at the Santa Clara Bronco Classic... compiled an overall record of 11-11 in doubles, playing mainly the No. 3 spot with Brian Brogan... sported a 2-1 record at the Santa Clara Bronco Classic, reaching the Round of 16 with Chris Iwamura.

Zepponi Bronco Rookie of the Year.
