Final Day: ITA Regional Tournament at Stanford University Results

SANTA CLARA Calif. - The Santa Clara men's tennis team played one singles and one doubles match in the ITA Northwest Regional Tournament at Stanford University on Mon., Oct.18.

Kyle Dandan, who advanced further than any other Bronco in the ITA Singles Tournament as the No. 17 seed, lost to No. 3 seed Jvn Nedunchezhiyan from University of Washington (7-5,2-6,6-1) in the Round of 16.

The last Bronco doubles team, No. 9 seed Kyle Dandan and Nico Vinel, also had a very close quarterfinals match against No. 4 seed Chris Konigsfldt and Nick Andrees from California. They fell 9-8 to the Cal team.

Overall, Dandan played exceptionally well in this tournament with three victories each in both singles and doubles. The Broncos concluded with a great start of the season in this tournament and ended with nine singles and four doubles victories in total.

The Broncos will play next at the Gael Classic in Moraga, Calif. from Sat., Nov. 6 to Mon. Nov. 8.
