AS A SENIOR IN 2010: Had a breakout senior season at two meters...started in 33 of 34 games... registered 35 goals, 11 steals and 4 assists...led the team with 44 ejections earned... netted three goals against George Washington and four goals and four kick outs drawn against Fordham for a huge day at the Princeton Invitational (9/11)… drew two ejections and a five meter while collecting a field blcok against Cal (10/2)…  scoed a goal while earning three ejections in a win over Pepperdine (10/3)… scored three goals and drew one ejection against Whittier (10/8)… scored two goals while adding a field block and an earned ejection against Cal Baptist… hade a huge game against Brown scoring four goals while picking up one steal (10/23).

AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Played in 34 games, starting two, and scored 26 goals on 44 attempts with three assists ... stole the ball nine times and drew 26 ejections and four 5-meter shots ... three goals in win over George Washington (9/13) ... drew two KOs in win over No. 14 Air Force at NorCal Invitational (9/19) ... scored against Whittier (9/26) ... scored a goal against Redlands (9/27) ... tallied six goals in one day with three goals against Fresno Pacific and three more against Pomona-Pitzer at The Convergence (10/3) ... scored one goal and drew two exclusions against Whittier (11/8) ... scored twice against No. 2 California (11/15).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Named to the ACWPC All-Academic Team ... started in all 30 matches for the Broncos ... scored 19 goals on 44 attempts ... tallied one assist while recording 15 steals ... earned 26 ejections and two 5-meter penalties for the Broncos ... earned a season-high three ejections against Concordia (Oct. 4).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, Calif. ... coached by Stephen Mann as a prep and was also on the swim team ... named to the 2nd team All-League in 2004, 1st team in 2005 and 2006 ... 3rd team All-North Coast selection in 2005, 1st team in 2006 ... named to the 3rd team All-Northern California team and 7th team California/Hawaii All-American team in 2006 ... participated in the NCS v. CCS All-Star game ... won a gold medal in the junior Olympics for the Lamorinda water polo team in 2007 ... scored 98 goals senior year ... ASB President in 2006-07 ... senior class homecoming king in 2007 ... member of the California Scholarship Federation.

PERSONAL: Son of David and JoAnn Hobbs ... has an older brother, Aaron ... enjoys sports, reading, and playing his trombone ... career goal is to become a sports broadcaster ... majoring in communication.
