HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Cathedral Catholic High school in Encinitas, California … as a senior he was awarded first team All-CIF, varsity team co-captain and finished his career as CIF Open Division runnerup … as a junior he was earned Academic All American – Outstanding Achiever in 2018-19… as a sophomore his team was CIF Open Division champion and he was awarded second team All-CIF … also a member of the swimming and diving team.
PERSONAL: Father, Muchael Somers, played soccer at UC Santa Cruz (1978-80) … participated in Teen Volunteers in Action (TVIA), President & National Liaison for TVIA Leadership Council, and assistant coach for Del Mar Water Polo Club – 10U Coed Team … plans to major in finance with real estate minor.
