Gina Brewer is in her first year as volunteer assistant coach after serving as video analyst last season for the Santa Clara women's soccer program.

Brewer, who was hired in August 2021, joined the Broncos following a year and a half as an assistant coach at Loyola Marymount. Prior to that she was the head coach at Hawaii Pacific University from 2011-19 where she led the Sharks to over 70 wins as the longest tenured head coach in program history.
  
Brewer headed to Hawaii Pacific after two seasons (2008-10) as an assistant coach at the University of Hawaii-Manoa. She was an assistant at Utah State University from 2006-07 and a graduate assistant at the University of Idaho from 2003-05.
 
During her playing days, Brewer was part of a very successful program at the University of Washington from 1998-2001, where the Huskies won the 2000 Pac-10 Championship and went to the NCAA Tournament three times while she was there with a national quarterfinals finish in 2000.
 
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Brewer holds a Master's of Education in physical education and health from the University of Idaho, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in communications from the University of Washington.
  
Brewer is currently a United States Soccer Coach Educator for the Grassroots, D, and C coaching licenses and is also a US Youth Soccer National Team Scout. She currently holds her USSF “A” Coaching License.
