AS A SENIOR IN 1999: A first team All-West Region selection... named to the All-WCC second team... honored as Defensive MVP of the Stanford Nike Classic and overall MVP of the Duke adidas Invitational for her role in victories over second-ranked North Carolina and Duke... started all 23 games she saw action in... missed Oct. 22 match at Pepperdine after receiving a red card during the previous game at Loyola Marymount... led a defense that recorded 13 shutouts... scored three goals and added five assists for 11 points... scored the first to SCU's league record 96 goals during the season on August, 27, netting game-winner at California... scored game-winner again at San Jose State... started five of six conference matches as Santa Clara only allowed one goal... assisted on Heather Aldama's game-winning tally in a NCAA third round victory over UCLA.

AS A JUNIOR IN 1998: Saw action in 22 matches, including 18 starts... missed the NCAA Quarterfinal match against Connecticut due to a pulled right quadriceps... recorded a career-high 24 points on nine goals and six assists... scored the game-winner in the conference opener against Pepperdine, finding the back of the net at just 11 minutes into the game... also added an assist against the Waves... put the finishing touches on a 3-1 home victory over Fresno State, scoring the final goal at 71:58... teamed with Mandy Clemens to assist on Kathleen Celio's game-winning strike with only 2:18 left in a 1-0 home victory over No. 21 George Mason in the Santa Clara/Nike Classic... notched the final score of a 3-0 victory over Loyola Marymount on Oct. 9... followed that game up with a two goal, one assist performance during the Broncos''10-0 romp of Gonzaga... teamed with Lisa Nanez to feed Clemens for the game-winning goal during Santa Clara's 2-0 victory at Texas... netted three goals against Saint Mary's, becoming only the ninth player in Santa Clara history to record a hat trick... also added an assist during the Broncos' 8-0 rout over the visiting Gaels... netted the final goal of Santa Clara's 3-0 victory over No. 19 BYU in the NCAA Tournament... has tallied five goals in 10 postseason matches, including game-winners in both the 1996 and 1997 quarterfinals.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1997: Only Bronco to start all 24 matches... tallied three goals and three assists on the season... recorded the assist on Megan Horvath's overtime game-winning goal vs. Cal Poly... assisted on the Broncos' second goal in a 3-0 victory at Washington State... scored first goal of the season with just 17 seconds left in the first half against Stanford... played a key role in the Broncos' Southern California trip, playing solid defense in back-to-back shutouts of WCC opponents Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine... turned in a tremendous defensive effort versus No. 4 Portland... scored just before halftime to give Santa Clara a 2-0 cushion in an eventual 4-0 win over San Francisco at Buck Shaw Stadium... scored second consecutive game-winning goal in a NCAA Tournament quarterfinal match on a 10-yard diving header against Clemson.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1996: Saw significant action at both defensive midfielder and forward off the bench... saw action in 22 matches off the bench... totaled 25 shots on goal... did not score a goal in the regular season but had three tallies in the NCAA Tournament... after going scoreless in first 16 matches, recorded assists in each of the last two regular-season matches against Washington and Loyola Marymount.. posted first career goal against Stanford in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, which was SCU's 64th goal of the season, making a new Broncos single-seasons record... scored again against Penn State in the second round... notched the lone score in SCU's quarterfinal defeat of Connecticut.

HIGH SCHOOL: A midfielder at Claremont (Calif.) High School under coaches Jose Ramirez and Pat Henasi... a four-time All-Baseline League pick... twice named All-CIF... led Los Virgenes Blazers club team to the 1996 California state title... listed among the Top-25 recruits in the nation prior to freshman season by USA Today and among the Super 11 recruits in the West by Soccer America... also lettered in volleyball, softball and track... graduated with a 3.4 grade point average.

PERSONAL: Full name is Kylie Elizabeth Bivens... born on October 24, 1978... parents are Mike and Janice Bivens... majoring in business... prior to joining Broncos, was listed among the Top-25 recruits in the nation by USA Today and among the Super 11 recruits in the West by Soccer America.
