2010 PCSC Honor Academic Roll

AS A JUNIOR IN 2010: Ace on the Broncos’ pitching staff … led the team in almost every pitching category … ate up innings for the Broncos by appearing in 35 of the Broncos’ 45 games ... started in 20 of her 35 appearances … amassed 12 complete games … worked a team-high 142 1/3 innings … led the team with 49 strikeouts … played and started one game in the field … had her second best outing of the year against UC Santa Barbara (3/27) going seven innings in a winning effort and allowing only two runs, none of those earned ... the following day had her best outing of the year allowing no runs in seven innings while striking out three batters… pitched 5 2/3 innings in relief only surrendering one run against Cal St. Bakersfield (4/17) … later that day appeared in relief and pitched 3 1/3 innings of perfect baseball against CSUB.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Started in 29 games on the mound ... made 47 appearances ... posted a 1-27 record with a 6.30 ERA ... tossed 12 complete games and tallied one save and had 54 strikeouts in 167 2/3 innings pitched ... vs. Northern Illinois (3/11)--pitched a season-high seven innings in her only win of the season ... vs. Portland State (4/5)--tied her season high with seven innings pitched ... vs. St. Mary's (4/19)--matched her season high of seven innings ... vs. Hawaii (4/20)--tied her season high innings pitched with seven ... vs. San Diego (Apr. 25)--tied her season high, pitching seven innings while striking out a season-high six batters.  

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: 2/8 vs. Cal State Fullerton - came on in relief and gave up no earned runs in 1 2/3 innings ... 2/10 vs. Cal State Fullerton - appeared in relief and gave up two earned runs in 4 2/3 innings ... 2/16 vs. Wichita State - came on in relief and gave up two earned runs in 4 2/3 innings with three strikeouts ... 2/20 vs. Cal - started and gave up six earned runs in 7 1/3 innings with a season high five strikeouts ... 2/29 vs. Drexel - came on in relief and pitched one scoreless inning ... 2/29 vs. Campbell - entered from bullpen and gave up one run in 2 2/3 innings ... 3/26 vs. UC Riverside - started and gave up two earned runs in seven innings with three strikeouts ... 4/6 vs. LMU (1) - started, gave up two earned runs in five innings of work ... 4/13 vs. Saint Mary's - started, gave up one earned run in six innings ... 4/19 vs. San Diego (1) - pitched five scoreless innings in relief to get her first win of the season ... 4/20 vs. San Diego (2) - threw a complete game shutout with just six hits for her second win of the season ... 5/3 vs. Portland State - came on in relief and gave up three earned runs in 4 1/3 innings ... 5/4 vs. Portland State - came on in relief and gave up one earned run in three innings.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Amy Torok at Valley Christian High School ... earned WCAL First Team All-League honors, WCAL Pitcher of the Year honors, as well as San Jose Mercury News and NorCal Athlete of the Week honors ... as a senior, finished the season with a 20-8 record and a .368 batting average.  

PERSONAL: Parents are Mike and Julie Rauschnot ... has older brother Michael and younger brother Marc ... enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, shopping and reading ... major is communication.
