AS A SENIOR IN 2005: Came off the bench in Santa Clara's home finale matches against Saint Mary's (11/18) and San Francisco (11/19)... Played in all three matches that Santa Clara participated in at the Brown Invitational... Saw action in three games at the Bronco Invitational last weekend, playing in the back row against Fresno State (9/8) and UC Santa Barbara (9/10).
AS A JUNIOR IN 2004: Had one start and saw action in eight contests... recorded one service ace against Southwest Missouri State... added two aces and six digs against Appalachian State... posted six digs in first start of the season at San Francisco... added five digs each against Saint Mary's and San Francisco... registered 10 digs and two assists at Pepperdine... added 11 digs at LMU the following night.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2003: Played in every match and all but one game... third on the team with 271 digs... had 15 and 12 digs, respectively, in the Broncos' home matches with No. 4 Pepperdine and No. 16 Loyola Marymount... posted 17 digs in a 3-2 win at Saint Mary's... had 10 digs in the 3-1 win over Gonzaga... registered a match-high 17 digs at No. 5 Pepperdine... notched 16 digs at No. 9 California... added eight assists in the 3-0 sweep of No. 18 San Diego... had 10 digs at Sacramento State... tied a career-high with 18 digs against Duke, one night after setting the record against South Carolina... tallied 12 digs against San Diego State... recorded eight digs in the 3-2 win over Miami... picked up a big kill in the 3-1 win over No. 10 Arizona... posted seven digs in the season opener against Pacific.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2002: Saw action in 11 matches... recorded only dig of the season in a 3-0 win over New Orleans in the UC Irvine Marriott Sunset Showcase.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2001 graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Calif... earned team MVP honors on the freshman and JV squads before earning All-League honors on the varsity team... played for head coach Bret Almazan-Cezar at Mitty... was a member of the Vision 18 Blue club team coached by Jason Dupler.
PERSONAL: Parents are Robert and Sharon (Yvette) Bothman... follows in mother's footsteps in attending school at Santa Clara... enjoys swimming, dancing, photography and working at Loaves and Fishes... aspires to be a high school teacher and guidance counselor following college.
