AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Started all 28 matches and saw action in 95 games ... averaged 2.87 kills and 2.80 digs a game ... reached double figures in kills 11 times and 12 times in digs ... recorded five double-doubles on the year ... averaged 12.33 digs a game in three wins at Fresno State Invitational from Aug. 25-27 ... posted consecutive double-doubles with 17 kills and 17 digs in win over Missouri on Sept. 8, and 15 kills and 10 digs at San Jose State on Sept. 12 ... posted 17 kills and 15 digs in win at Gonzaga on Oct. 12 ... had 12 kills and served up seven aces against San Francisco on Oct. 26 ... downed a career-high 26 kills and made 16 digs in five-game win over Saint Mary's on Oct. 28 ... made 15 kills and 13 digs at Loyola Marymount on Nov. 4 ... posted final double-double in NCAA first-round contest against Missouri with 11 kills and 13 digs.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Started in 31 of 32 matches and competed in 114 of 118 games, registering a team-high 15 double-doubles... ended the year with 387 kills, 349 digs, 45 total blocks, and 37 service aces... named to the Palo Alto Regional all-tournament team... picked up 17 kills and 13 kills in first NCAA Tournament appearance against Sacramento State (12/2)... collected WCC Freshman of the Year, in addition to be being placed on the All-WCC First Team and the All-WCC Freshman team... voted the West Coast Conference Player of the Week three times this season (10/3, 10/24 and 10/31)... set career high in digs, with 22 at California (11/15) to go along with 12 kills... had career highs in kills (24) and hitting percentage (.553) against Pepperdine (10/2)... named to the All-Tournament team of the Brown Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Esperanza High School in Anaheim, Calif... coached by Isaac Owens led the squad to the 2003 CIF Championship, a 32-3 record and advancement to the state quarterfinal... returned to the CIF championship match as a senior... a 2003 first-team CIF and a three time Sunset All-League honoree... also named to All- Orange County teams on two occasions also a team captain... a Prep Volleyball Senior Ace and a Volleyball Magazine Fab 50... a member of the Goldenwest Volleyball Club under coach Craig Pazanti... the team earned a bronze medal at the Junior Olympics 18 Open division... also played soccer as a freshman... a member of the National Charity League.
