SOPHOMORE YEAR IN 2011: (at University of Texas): Appeared in 22 matches, starting six … on the season tallied 21 kills on 52 attacks, hitting at a clip of .308 … Texas team was Big 12 Conference Champions and advanced to the Elite Eight before being knocked out by eventual NCAA Champion UCLA … was honored with 2012 Academic Provost Award … named to Academic All-Big 12 Volleyball First-Team.

FRESHMAN YEAR IN 2010 (at University of Texas): Saw action in seven matches … racked up seven kills on 10 attempts … team advanced to play in the Final Four and lost to eventual NCAA Champion Penn State … honored with the 2011 Academic Provost Award. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letter-winner at La Jolla High School where she served as team captain her senior season … coach was Dave Jones … 2009 AVCA High School All-American Second-Team member … California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) First-Team selection in both 2007 and ‘09 … second-team member of the 2009 San Diego All-Section team … received the 2009 AVCA Team Academic Award … led her team to the CIF Finals her sophomore and junior season … ranked as one of the top 100 seniors by PrepVolleyball … also competed on diving team … member of FCA and Athletics in Action. 

CLUB EXPERIENCE: Played for Coast Volleyball Club … a member on the 2008 USA Volleyball Youth National A2 Red Team … was honored on the 2008 Junior Olympics All-Tournament Team.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Paul and Anna Marie Cameron … father graduated from Arizona State University and mother graduated from University of Arizona; dad played professional Frisbee, freestyle … has an older sister Ali (23) … was at one point in hight school thought to be the tallest female gymnast in the world, standing at 6-0.  competed on a national level for years as a gymnast ... a Liberal Studies major aspiring to be an elementary school teacher … she enjoys the beach, arts and crafts and working with kids.
