Baseball Hosts Jack Gifford Memorial Tournament At Schott Stadium

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -  The Santa Clara Broncos (6-6) finish up a five-game week by co-hosting the Jack Gifford Memorial Tournament at Schott Stadium Thursday through Sunday. The Broncos have gone 6-3 over the past nine games, and this past weekend captured their second straight weekend series by taking two of three from San Jose State. The Spartans will also be hosting games at Municipal Stadium as part of the Jack Gifford Memorial. In the tournament, the Broncos will open up against Utah Friday night , play UW-Milwaukee Saturday evening then close things out with Sunday games against Utah and UC Davis. SCU is 9-1-0 all-time vs. Utah, 7-4-0 vs. UC Davis, and has never played UW-Milwaukee.
