Men's Golf in 18th Place at Western Intercollegiate

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Clara men's golf team opened the 55th Western Intercollegiate with rounds of 301 and 314 this afternoon and currently stand in 18th place.

The event is taking place at the at Pasatiempo Golf Club, a par-70 course totaling 6,445 yards.

Oregon leads all teams with an 11-over 571. Washington is second at 577 and Pacific is third at 579.

Senior Drew Corwin and junior Sandy Horacek are tied in 62nd place to lead the Broncos, both with 153s, 13 strokes over par.

The Broncos will conclude play at the Western Intercollegiate with an 8 a.m. shotgun start for the final round tomorrow morning.
