Women's Golf Completes Play at Bronco Fall Classic in Idaho

EAGLE, Idaho - Santa Clara University's women's golf team completed play at the Bronco Fall Classic hosted by Boise State on Tuesday. The Broncos finished 16th after shooting rounds of 314 on day one and 345 on day two.

Tough playing conditions dominated play on day two in Idaho as 15 of the 17 participating teams watched their scores rise as the temperatures dropped. Jessica Lamberty was the top finisher for the Broncos as she finished tied for 25th at 14-over par after firing a team-low 81 on Tuesday.

Anne Bowden fired rounds of 82 and 83 to finish tied for 62nd at +23. Jennifer Taylor followed closed behind Bowden, finishing in a tie for 70th at 26-over par after rounds of 79 and 89.

Courtney Dimpel-Composti and Kelly Wendorff rounded out the Bronco scoring, finishing with two-round scores of +28 and +48, respectively. Dimpel-Composti fired rounds of 78 and 92 to finish in a tie for 76th, while Wendorf finished 96th after rounds of 96 and 94.

The Broncos will return to action next week as they take part in the Cal Poly Fall Classic in San Luis Obispo, Calif. all day next Monday and Tuesday.
