Smale went 2-for-3 in eight games this season and 3-for-3 against Western Washington on March 25th, aiding the Broncos in their 3-0 win. Despite the loss against Portland State on April 7th, she had a two-out triple to tie the game in extra innings that kept the Broncos alive. Tied 2-2 in the top of the seventh against Sacramento State on February 3rd, she doubled bringing in two runners to secure the victory for the Broncos. Smale has tallied a total of 50 hits, 9 doubles, 4 triples, and one homerun.
