SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Three Santa Clara women's water polo players were honored by the Western Water Polo Association last week, highlighted by senior Jenny Knutson who earned her first ever First-Team WWPA All-Conference selection.
Knutson's classmate Meg Zimmerman was named honorable mention WWPA All-Conference and freshman utility Alison Norris was selected to the WWPA All-Freshman Team.
The annual WWPA All-Conference awards are determined by the league's coaches.
Knutson ended her career on a high note, finishing second on the team in goals scored with 46. Zimmerman led the team in exclusions drawn for the second year in a row, totaling 58. Norris saw time in all but one game and recorded an impressive 21 goals, 15 assists, and 13 steals.
