Ty McSparran was hired in July 2019 and is currently in his third year working in the Santa Clara Athletics Compliance Office, where he manages all NCAA compliance matters related to personnel, amateurism, initial eligibility, recruiting and playing and practice seasons.
McSparran graduated with a B.J. in Journalism from the University of Missouri and an M.A. in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco, where he served as a graduate assistant in the compliance office.
A native of San Diego, McSparran enjoys reading, playing Spikeball, and cheering on the Padres, Chiefs, Mizzou Tigers, and of course, the SCU Broncos!
