  AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Made 17 appearance son the year, including seven starts ... posted a 3-3 record and 5.72 ERA, and struck out 22 batters in 50.1 innings pitched ... earned first win Feb. 4 against Utah, allowing only one run on four hits and striking out four over 5.2 innings ... held Fresno State to only three runs in six innings of work March 11 in Fresno to pick up second win ... picked up third win in relief, allowign only one run and striking out two in 2.2 innings against Stanford on March 6 ... threw five innings of one-run relief at No. 12 Pepperdine Apr. 20.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Made 22 appearances on the mound, including 11 starts ... went 3-6 on the year with a 6.75 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 82.2 innings pitched ... went eight and a third innings in his second start on Feb. 19 against UC Riverside ... struck out four while allowing only four hits and one run but took a no-decision ... got his first win six days later at No. 22 Cal Poly ... scattered six Mustang hits and allowed only one earned run in seven and two-thirds innings ... struck out two and allowed only three earned runs in earning his second victory of the season March 19 against Northwestern ... allowed only one earned run and struck out four in six and two-thirds innings April 1 against San Francisco, but again took a no-decision ... earned his third win in relief ... tossed three innings of three-hit, one-run ball and struck out four Portland batters.
