SOPHOMORE (2009): Made 12 relief appearances, working a season-high 3 2/3 innings in a victory over UC Davis ... posted a 1-1 record ... struck out 12 batters on the year ... was sharp in first relief appearance opening weekend against URI (Feb. 21), tossing two innings and tying his career-high with three strikeouts ... fanned two in one inning against Stanford (Apr. 15) ... called upon against USF (Apr. 18), tossing one inning of no-hit, no-run ball ... finished the season with three scoreless outings in his last five appearances.
