PRIOR TO SCU: Graduated from Downers Grove South High School in 2014 … in 2013 hit .381 … recorded season totals of 24 RBIs, 21 runs scored, 12 doubles, one home run … earned all-conference honors for the second consecutive year … 31-8 record … entered playoffs as No.1 seed and reached the section semifinal.

PERSONAL: Son of Joe and Tracy Becht … has two younger brothers, Peter and Anthony …interested in all types of sports from baseball to Frisbee golf … involved with the National Honor Society as well as Superfans and DECA … career goals include playing professional baseball and working for a tech company in Silicon Valley.
