Broncos to Play LMU/Portland Winner Saturday at 6 pm

Santa Clara, the No. 4 seed in the WCC Tournament in Las Vegas next weekend, will play the winner of the LMU/Portland game on Sat., March 5 at 6 pm.  LMU and Portland will play on Friday in the first round game.  If Santa Clara wins it will play Saint Mary's on Sun., March 6 with the WCC Tournament Championship berth on the line.  

Santa Clara is 18-13 and 8-6 in the WCC.  LMU is 10-20, 2-12 WCC and Portland is 20-10 and 7-7 in the WCC.  

Santa Clara swept the season series with LMU and finished 1-1 vs. Portland, winning at home but dropping a game on the road vs. the Pilots.
