Men’s Basketball Player Recognized by NABC

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior Kai Healy of Santa Clara men's basketball was named to the 2017-18 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, which recognizes juniors and seniors who excel on and off the hardwood.

The recent graduate played in 27 games his senior year, starting in 10. Healy averaged 19.6 minutes per game and shot 37.4-percent from the three-point line in his career as a Bronco.

Healy maintained a 3.29 grade-point average as a communication major.

Honors Court Criteria:


• Academically, a junior or senior, and a varsity player.
• Cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2017-18 academic year.
• Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
• Member of a NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
