FRESHMAN (2013): In his first season with the Broncos, Castro played in 11 of the Broncos’ 20 matches, starting in five … attempted a shot vs. SIUE (Aug. 30) … collected a shot vs. Saint Mary’s (Nov. 8).

HIGH SCHOOL: Semi-finals of CIF Playoffs ... Second Team All-League freshman year ... Rookie of the Year ... First team All-League sophomore year ... tied school's 400m dash record at 50 seconds flat. 

CLUB: Real So Cal Academy U16 and U18 ... second place, Globe Cup of the NI Milk Cup with the Irvine Strikers U18 Academy team. 

PERSONAL: Son of Rodrigo and Dianna ... has two siblings, Nicolas and Samantha ... plans on majoring in Business ... career goals include becoming a professional soccer player and a businessman ... his father played soccer at Indiana University and in the MISL ... his uncle played in the NASL, MISL and the Bundes Liga 2 ... part of the B.A.D.D (Brentwood Aid for Disease and Disaster) which works with organizations that serve the community in different ways, ie. organizing blood drives with the Red Cross ... outside of soccer, he enjoys watching movies, playing video games and hanging out with friends.
