AS A JUNIOR IN 1999: Battled back from an early-season knee injury to become a major factor in the Broncos' late-season run... appeared in 13 matches, making four starts... scored three of his four goals in the 1999 NCAA Tournament, which ties him for the all-time Santa Clara single-post-season record... totaled nine points after scoring four goals and an assist... made a debut in a 1-0 victory at Furman on Oct. 3 after missing the first nine matches of the year because of knee injury... netted the second-half equalizer against visiting San Diego on Oct. 15... helped Santa Clara snap a three-game winless streak with an assist against Portland on Oct. 30 as the Broncos won 4-0... scored first post-season goal after beating the Duke keeper at the 81:12 mark during a 4-2 second-round upset against the No. 1 Blue Devils... became only the third player in Santa Clara history to record a multi-goal effort in a post-season match, scoring a pair of goals against Alabama-Birmingham in the national quarterfinal... the second goal, at 102:22, gave Santa Clara a 3-2 overtime win and a berth in the Men's College Cup... appeared in both College Cup matches.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1998: Physical play keyed one of the stingiest defensive units in the nation... an honorable mention All-WCC selection...one of only three Broncos to have started all 22 matches... finished as the team's sixth-leading scorer with seven points (2 goals, 3 assists)... tallied his first goal of the year against Xavier on Sept. 11... had a two-assist performance on Sept. 27, leading Santa Clara to a 3-0 victory at Sacramento State... hit one of the biggest goals of the year on Oct. 9, netting the game-winner of a 3-1 Homecoming win over then-No. 22 Notre Dame... assisted on Kyle Smith's goal in an eventual 4-1 victory over UNC Greensboro in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1997: Saw time in 11 matches and made one start... made his first collegiate appearance against DePaul in the USF Classic on Sept. 12... made his first start in the next match vs. Holy Cross... had his best collegiate game as he tallied a goal and an assist in the Broncos 5-1 victory over No. 7 Stanford.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Attended Clovis West HS in Fresno, Calif... played forward for coach Andrew Parker... led Clovis West to a 25-3 record with 23 goals as a senior... as a junior, led Clovis West to the Tri-River Athletic Conference title, and was named team and league MVP... helped lead his club team Clovis United to Dallas Cup and Seattle Cup crowns as well as five Northern California State Championships... a member of the Olympic Development Program state team in 1992 and 1996 and of the ODP regional team in 1996... graduated with a 3.7 grade point average... majoring in accounting... son of Norman and Patty Goehring... born November 29, 1978.
