• Two-Time Member of WWPA All-Academic Team

A five-year driver who played in 113 career games (14 starts), totaling 36 goals, 19 assists, and 68 earned ejections ... two-time member of the WWPA All-Academic team (2013, 2015). 

AS A SENIOR (2016): Played in all 27 games, including seven starts … totaled 10 goals, 7 assists, 16 steals, and drew 16 ejections  … earned the team's Iron Horse Award ... accumulated a goal in each of the team’s first three games … has a season-best two assists vs. San Jose State (Sept. 3) ... had a season-high two goals versus Air Force (Nov. 20).

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015): Played in 31 of the 33 games ... started one game ... named to WWPA All-Academic team ... racked up nine goals, five assists, and 17 steals ... earned the team's Iron Horse Award ... recorded a season-high two goals against LMU (Oct. 31) and a season-high in assists (2) vs. UCSD (Nov. 20).

AS A JUNIOR (2014): Utlized a redshirt season due to injury.  

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013): Played in 27 of 33 games, all as a reserve … named to WWPA All-Academic team ... recorded eight goals, 12 field blocks, and 12 earned ejections … scored against LMU at the WWPA Tournament.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012): Played in 28 of 30 games, starting in six … recognized as "Excellent" on the ACWPC All-Academic team ... posted 18 attempts, nine goals, six assists, 12 steals and 25 kickouts drawn … had two goals against La Verne (Sept. 23) and a career-high three goals against Stanford (Nov. 4).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Bear River High School in Grass Valley, Calif. … competed in swimming (coached by Daryn Glasgow) and water polo (coached by Al Eggers) … water polo team was a two-time section qualifier … named the Matt Robinson Athlete of the Year … swimming individual honors: Academic All-American, 12-time First Team All-League, three-time Team MVP… water polo individual honors: two-time Academic All-American, three-time First Team All-League, three-time Team MVP,  2^nd Team All-Section, 1^st Team All-Section … active in the California Scholarship Federation.

CLUB: Starter for the Sacramento Water Polo and Central Olympic Development Program … placed first in gold bracket at Junior Olympics.

PERSONAL: Born in Citrus Heights, Calif. … parents are Dan and Kara Johnson … has an older brother, Brandan … enjoys camping, hiking, swimming and reading … a mathematics major who carries more than a 3.80 GPA.
