Jennifer Bradley begins her third season in her current capacity as assistant coach, and fifth overall as a member of the women's basketball coaching staff. After playing for the Broncos from 1999-2003, Bradley joined the coaching staff as a graduate assistant and served in that capacity for the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons. She shares responsibilities related to all aspects of the program.
"I couldn't be more excited about my role with the women's basketball team here at Santa Clara," Bradley said. "Coach Bento-Jackson and the athletic department administrators gave me the opportunity of a lifetime in allowing me to stay a part of this community."
Bradley, a former guard for the Broncos, was a regular in the rotation and was part of a program that reached four straight postseasons while averaging 20 wins. One of her most notable performances came in the opening game of the 2002 WCC tournament against San Diego, hitting three of four from behind the arc, scoring 11 points and notching a career-high four steals to lead the team out of a first-half deficit. A native of Arvada, Colo., Bradley had a chance to play in her home state at the 2002 NCAA Championship. That season, she received the Coaches award as one of the squad's most supportive teammates. Following the 2002-03 season, she was honored by her teammates with the Christine Silvernail Award, a recognition given to the student-athlete that "best embodies what it means to be a Bronco."
Bradley graduated from Santa Clara in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in communication, and in June 2006 earned her master's in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara.
