Why Andi chose Santa Clara: “First and foremost, I chose Santa Clara for the academic merit of the school. Santa Clara boasts high achievement and graduation rates, which is very important to me. Secondly, I chose SCU for the soccer experience. The soccer program at Santa Clara has undoubtedly been one of the best in the country and I would like to continue the tradition and add to the success of the program. Lastly, the atmosphere at Santa Clara is perfect for me. The moment I walked onto the campus and had a glimpse of the dream, I knew this is exactly where I wanted to be.”
Head coach Jerry Smith on Andi: "One of only a handful of keepers in the country to be considered the best in the class in her position. In addition to her shot-stopping ability, Andi is very good on crossing balls, has excellent distribution with both her hands and feet, and is a very mature and focused individual. These characteristics will allow her to be fast-tracked in terms of her development."
