AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2003 Transferred to Santa Clara after spending two injury plagued seasons at Long Beach State... rang up 10 digs in the Broncos match with No. 5 Nebraska... posted one dig as the Libero in game three of the Broncos' 3-0 win over Rhode Island... saw her first action in a Bronco uniform against San Jose State, posting two digs in the 3-1 win.

AT LONG BEACH STATE: Redshirted freshman season and sat out sophomore year due to injury.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2000 graduate of nearby Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Calif... played for coaches Jason Curtis and Bret Almazon-Cezar... helped team to league titles in each of her four years on the varsity squad... team finished as the Division I State runners-up in 1997 and as the Division I NorCal runners-up in 1998 and 2000... earned first team all-league honors all four years... was named the Central Coast Section sophomore of the year in 1998, junior of the year in 1999 and senior of the year in 2000... earned second team All-State honors as a junior and first team honors as a senior... tabbed as a Mizuno/Paul Mitchell All-American and a Fab-50 player her senior year... volunteered at the Our Lady of Fatima convalescent home during all four years of high school.
