SOPHOMORE (2016): WCC All-Academic Team … 2x all-tournament team selection (Active Ankle Challenge, Cal Classic) … played in all 30 matches and 109 of the team’s 110 sets with 24 starts … led the Broncos with a .301 hitting percentage … finished the season with 220 kills, 94 total blocks (t-2nd, Jensen Cunningham) and 21 digs … hit .500 with nine kills and no attacking errors alongside four total blocks in a victory at No. 7 USC (Aug. 27) … the Trojans are the highest-ranked team the Broncos have defeated in regular season play in program history … hit .462 with seven kills and a season-high seven total blocks vs. Stony Brook (Sept. 3) … converted on 11 of 13 attack attempts for a career-high .769 hitting percentage vs. Grand Canyon (Sept. 9) … had 12 kills and four total blocks at Cal (Sept. 10) … hit .556 with 10 kills and no attacking errors at Pacific (Oct. 20) … set a season-best and career-best mark with 13 kills vs. No. 10 BYU (Nov. 19).
FRESHMAN (2015): Played in five matches and six sets … had five kills, a block solo and two block assists in her Bronco debut vs. Weber State (Aug. 28) … played in two sets and recorded two kills vs. Nevada (Sept. 19).
PRIOR TO SCU: Four-year varsity starter and 2014 team captain for coach J.J. Utchen at Monte Vista High School ... played outside hitter/middle blocker ... First Team All-EBAL as a senior in 2014 ... named to 2014 AVCA All-American Watch List ... averaged three kills/set while hitting .440 ... Mustangs went 27-6 (13-0 East Bay Athletic League) in 2014 to win first league title in 19 years.
PERSONAL: Four-year academic All-American ... named to National Honor Society ... served three years in school government.
WHY LINDBERG CHOSE SANTA CLARA: "I've toured many different schools and volleyball programs across the nation but there isn't anything quite like Santa Clara University. I felt an instant connection to the players; I knew that they would become my future lifelong friends. I was really inspired by the Leavey Center. I could picture myself spending countless hours practicing with my coaches and team, getting better and working hard. But Santa Clara is far more than a gym. I was struck by the academic vigor and the internship opportunities within the business school. Santa Clara is the right school for me because it will guide me as I develop, learn, and grow to reach my future goals and aspirations."
